How this works. Islamic home purchase plans (Diminishing Musharakah) use a profit rate rather than interest. This calculator uses the standard 4.5x income multiplier used by UK Islamic providers like Gatehouse Bank and StrideUp, reduced for existing financial commitments. Monthly payments shown are estimates based on a fixed profit rate. Actual offers depend on credit history, property type, and provider criteria. Compare Islamic mortgage providers →

When is my Zakat due?

Answer 3 simple questions and we'll tell you exactly when your Zakat needs to be paid.

1
What is your total savings and wealth right now?
Add up everything: cash in bank accounts, savings, gold you own, money owed to you, and any business stock. Subtract any debts you owe.
£
2
Has your wealth been above the minimum threshold all year?
The minimum threshold is called the nisab. Most scholars use the silver nisab — currently loading…. This is the minimum amount that makes Zakat obligatory.
3
When did your wealth first go above that threshold?
Zakat only becomes due after your wealth has stayed above the nisab for one full lunar year (354 days). Pick the date it first crossed that line.
Not sure of the exact date? Use the 1st of the month you first saved above this amount.
